There is a young lady in Canada named Tina that is breaking into her gifts as a singer/song writer. We were talking one day about a writer's block she was suffering from.
While I myself have never suffered from that particular curse, I do, on occasion run into other problems....
I began to think about the old POWs and how they comforted eachother through the walls by clicking and scratching, and, just being there.
This song came from that. I don't usually editoralize any of my songs because I think they stand alone lyrically regardless of the inspiration. But, in this case, I just wanted to give a shout out to Tina and hopefully get her some additional exposure.
You can find her at www.myspace.com/tinawallacemusic
As an aside - we live in an acoustic forum, and I think the rock influence on this song really shocked her... but, I don't have a box to fit in. :-)
Lyrics, rythm, vocals - Alan Cleveland...
Bass, lead guitar - Nathan Campbell...
Drums - Darren Friday...
Vocals - Willy Sportel...
