The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council Gallery offers carved jade (Alaska’s gemstone), soapstone and ivory sculptures, silver jewelry, carved wooden masks, intricate beadwork, blankets and apparel designed by Alaska Natives and local artists. The delightful works of Juneau artist Rie Munoz depicting daily life in Alaska are not to be missed.

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council is the formal arts agency for the Capital City of Juneau, Alaska. Festivals include Alaska Positive (photography), Alaska Folk Festival, and the Juneau Wearable Arts Show. Theatre in the Rough and Perseverance Theatre, Juneau’s professional playhouse, feature original plays by Alaskan and local playwrights.
